Turn text into bold, italic, script, gothic, bubble and 16 more Unicode styles to copy and paste into bios and posts, or convert fancy text back to plain.
Instagram bios, TikTok names and X posts give you no font menu. What they do accept is any Unicode character, and Unicode happens to contain whole alphabets that look bold, italic, cursive or gothic. Type a line here and it comes back in 21 of those alphabets at once, each ready to copy.
The box starts with “Launch sequence confirmed.”, which the first style turns into “𝐋𝐚𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐡 𝐬𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐝.”
Each result shows its character count, because a styled letter is still one character to most bio and name limits but two to anything that counts in UTF-16 the way JavaScript does. Type only Bangla, Arabic or Chinese and the tool says so: “These styles only exist for the Latin letters A–Z and the digits 0–9. Other scripts pass through unchanged.”
Nothing here is a font. Most styles come from Unicode’s Mathematical Alphanumeric Symbols block, meant for variables in equations. That block has holes: a few letters such as script ℬ, gothic ℌ and double-struck ℝ were already in Unicode before it was made, so they live in another block, and the tool fills them in from there. Only bold, sans-serif, double-struck and monospace have their own digits. Squared and filled-circle letters exist only as capitals, parenthesized and superscript letters only as lower case, and there is no small-caps x or superscript q at all, so those pass through as ordinary letters.
Converting back combines the tool’s own tables with Unicode compatibility normalisation (NFKC), which also catches styled text made elsewhere. Styles that keep upper and lower case come back exactly; one-case styles such as small caps come back in that case.
Screen readers often announce each character as a maths symbol or skip it, so a bio written entirely in script can be unreadable to a blind visitor. Search boxes and hashtags usually treat 𝐋𝐚𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐡 and Launch as different words, and some sites reject them in usernames or email fields. Use them for a name or a single line, and keep the information people need in plain text.
