Rearrange, delete and reverse PDF pages by dragging thumbnails, or type an order like 3, 1, 2, 8-5. Free and in your browser; nothing is uploaded.
Scanners feed pages in whatever order they were stacked, merged files land with the appendix in the middle, and a single blank page sneaks in after every chapter. Reorder PDF Pages shows the whole document as thumbnails so you can see the problem, then lets you drag pages into place, delete the ones you do not want and save a new PDF. It all happens in this tab; the file is never uploaded.
-reordered added, and the summary line reports how many pages were kept and deleted. The order box mirrors the grid, so you can read the current order or type a new one and press Enter. Commas separate pages and hyphens make ranges: 1-4, 9, 8-6 keeps the first four pages, then page 9, then 8, 7 and 6. A range written high to low runs backwards, which is the quickest way to flip a section scanned upside-down in the stack, and 12-1 reverses a 12-page file outright. Any page left out of the list is deleted. Each page may appear once; typing2, 2 stops with “Page 2 is listed twice. Each page can appear once.”
The pages you keep are copied into a fresh PDF exactly as they are, with their own rotation, text and images, so nothing is re-compressed or re-rendered. What does not carry across is anything that belongs to the document rather than the page: bookmarks, the outline sidebar and fillable form fields are left behind. A file can be up to 100 MB; password-protected PDFs have to be unlocked first, and at least one page must remain, because a PDF with no pages is not a PDF.
